Accessing safer sex products
Locker 21
The SU keeps a limited stock of safer sex materials and menstrual care products which are available to students for free. You can request free latex or non-latex condoms, lube sachets and dental dams on the SU website via our discreet Locker 21 scheme - these will be available to collect from Locker 21 on the ground floor of the SU Headquarters within 24 hours.
Nightline
The society Nightline is a student-run, non judgemental listening service, open every night of term between 9pm-9am.
Upon request, Nightline can provide condoms, pregnancy tests, lube, ear plugs and attack alarms, from their building in-between new Rootes and old Rootes.

Accessing sexual health testing and advice
On campus
The University of Warwick Health Centre can provide limited testing and confidential advice regarding sexual health and STIs, including screening for Chlamydia and HIV. They currently do not offer self-testing kits. For more details, please visit

Off campus
The Coventry and Warwickshire Sexual Health Hub is the dedicated sexual health service for Coventry and Warwickshire. All services are completely free and confidential and include clinic-based appointments, drop-ins, online order forms and telephone services.
Please see their website for details of local sexual health clinics, information about sexual health and to order a free STI test or morning after pill. Self-test kits are sent in discreet packaging and can be completed at home within 15 minutes.

Accessing emergency contraception
The Morning After Pill cannot currently be obtained from the University of Warwick Health Centre. The closest Pharmacies to access the Morning After Pill free of charge are:

- Purchase emergency contraception from the pharmacy in the SU Atrium.
Consent and sexual misconduct
Obtaining ongoing and informed consent is essential to safe and enjoyable sex.
