Weekend Away is here!! And it’s going to be so much fun. At 4.15pm on the afternoon of Friday 15th November 2024, we’ll be heading off to Cefn Lea Park in mid-Wales, where we’ll join all of Warwick, Coventry and Northampton CUs together for a weekend of fun, fellowship and great teaching.  

Details: 

The weekend is all inclusive, so we’ve taken care of transport, accommodation and food cooked by a wonderful alumni team. In our main meetings, there’ll be talks working through the Bible applied specifically for our university context, lots of worship, alongside seminars on evangelism. Expect some great (optional) activities such as a hilly Welsh hike, a Ceilidh, football, crafts, lots of games, evening bonfire and much more. And don’t forget about the late night worship and the bookstall.  

There will also be time to work should you need it, so don’t let deadlines put you off. 

All in all it’s a unique chance to get to know lots of others in the CU really well and be fuelled and excited by the gospel. 

We’ll be leaving to return to campus at 3pm on Sunday 17th November.

Ticket sales will close on Saturday 9th November 2024 so go for it soon, but buying your ticket sooner is a great help for the WA team for admin purposes.
