Events

This Trip will Involve 10 days climbing outdoors in the sunny sicily, running from the 16th to the 26th or March. We will be staying at el bahira campsite just outside the town of San Vito Lo Capo. People on this trip will have the opportunity to climb outdoor on real rock and practice their climbing and skills they have built up the past year outdoors. People will be staying in el bahira campsite where they will be allocated a mobile home to live in for 10 days, which is situated less than 20 minutes walk away from the nearest rock face. This trip will offer a variety of activities most notibly is the climbing available to do in the day time, however, people are welome to explore the towns, go for walks and swim if they wish so. In the evening we offer 1 cocktail/ mocktail night and one bbq night, and there will likely be a pool available to swim, a pizzeria and opportunity to night climb on a floddlit wall. The main objective is to have fun and relax at the end of term 2.

Outdoor climbing insurance ( this can be purchased through the bmc under 27 membership and reimbursed by the club at the end of the year)

Requirements: 

Know how to competently lead/ sport climb

Been outside on 1 outdoor trip with the club

Own your own Harness, belay device, sling and 2 locking carribeaners

Within a pair, own 1 70m rope and 12 quickdraws.
