Warwick Table Tennis Club will be raising money for Cancer Research UK with our first table tennis tournament sponsored by Handles Property! 70% of ticket sales will be donated to Cancer Research UK, with the remaining 30% being used for prize money for winning the main tournament or the consolation tournament - and the main tournament winner will also get their name engraved on the prestigious Handles trophy!

The tournament is on Saturday 25th January 2025, starting at 11:00 and ending at 17:00, in the University of Warwick's Sports Hub, Zone C. 

There are 48 spaces available for 12 groups of 4 participants. All tournament matches (including the group-stage) will be best-of-5, and the top two players in each group advance to the main knockout, with the bottom two progressing to the consolation knockout. The groups and order of play will be circulated beforehand to all players - please make sure you are ready to play your matches at their scheduled times or you risk forfeiting matches. All players must arrive to register at 11:00 even if their first match is not at 11:00. Players should be prepared to umpire matches.

Tickets are £4 for University of Warwick Table Tennis Club members and £5 for all other participants. Entrants from local clubs and all universities are welcomed!   

The deadline for buying tickets is Friday 17th January 2025, but be aware tickets might sell out before this date.
