We’ve been notified of phone thieves operating around campus, hitting the Oculus today.

Here is how they’re operating:

Sleight of hand trick involving placing a folder/magazine etc. over the phone whilst asking for directions or assistance.

They remove the phone with the item placed over it.

They are off campus and away within seconds.

Please report any incidents to Community Safety ASAP. They will be able to contact and liase with authorities.
