Welcome
Welcome to Pride, the student-run LGBTQUIA+ Society at the University of Warwick. Since 1973 we have advocated for the LGBTQUIA+ community here at Warwick and beyond. We are committed to amplifying the voices of everyone in our community to ensure we are part of the conversation on LGBTQUIA+ rights.
Pride is all about community, coming together to support each other and have fun! We look forward to seeing you at one of our events soon. If you are nervous please feel free to drop one of our exec a message on Discord.
If you decide to join Warwick Pride, you will receive weekly emails containing details of the week's events, along with a summary of the events to come in the following week. This is a brilliant way to stay in the loop about what we have planned for you, and what you can get involved with whilst at Warwick.

About Us
We aim to provide a safe and fun environment for the LGBTQUIA+ community and their allies to enjoy themselves. We run everything from craft socials to hangouts at the Terrace Bar to nights out at The Yard, a local LGBTQUIA+ venue. There is something for everyone and we ensure that there is a good mix of sober and drinking events - we make sure to keep a balance of two sober events for each drinking event. All of our drinking events have designated sober exec(s) on duty, who are there to look out for all participants.
Pride is committed to supporting students and staff to be their authentic selves and to enjoy life at Warwick. Our work on student welfare ensures that the LGBTQUIA+ community has access to free safe sex supplies and sexual health testing. We also lobby for improved Mental Health and Student Wellbeing services.
In order to help you feel at home in Pride we offer a parenting scheme.
Throughout the year Pride is involved in a number of events such as Bi+ Visibility Day, Aspec Awareness Week, Pride Week, Black History Month, Trans Day of Remembrance, LGBTQUIA+ History Month, International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.

There are two types of membership. There is no cost to either membership. We are Society Federation fee exempt - you do not need to buy Society Federation membership to join Pride.
