Warwick Ukrainian Society was established just last year. Its mission is to foster a secure environment where members can join forces to support Ukraine's cause while offering essential resources to empower Ukrainian students on campus.

In the past year, the society organised a diverse range of activities. These included engaging academic events featuring influential Ukrainian speakers, social gatherings that allowed Warwick students to immerse in Ukrainian culture and setting up social events for the society to get to know each other and have fun together. Moreover, the society undertook fundraising efforts, organising events on campus and channelling proceeds from social gatherings towards Ukrainian charities.

One of the most memorable events from last year was a panel discussion commemorating the Year of Ukrainian Resistance. The focus was on the  European economic and geopolitical ramifications of russia's invasion of Ukraine. Attended by representatives from the media, Warwick University's administration, and local authorities, the event underscored the collective commitment to aiding the Ukrainian cause.

In the coming year, the society's objectives are to continue spreading awareness about Ukraine and the ongoing war, to drive fundraising initiatives, and, most importantly, to keep growing the Ukrainian community at Warwick.
