Welcome to Warwick University Dodgeball Club!

Dodgeball is an inclusive, friendly, and active club that is open to everyone! Because Dodgeball is such an upcoming sport, most people have never played before outside of school, so everyone starts on a level playing field. Also, it’s an easy game to grasp, and it’s great fun! Joining Dodgeball is the best way to meet people, make lifelong friends, and have fun playing a great sport.

If you’d like to play competitively, we have Men’s, Women’s and Mixed teams that are historically some of the most successful in the UK and have people playing for us as early as their first term of first year! We play in British Dodgeball Opens throughout the year and have been successful in them, with all of our teams winning medals; some of them being gold! We are also a BUCS sport, with 3 teams: 1st Men's team playing in the Premier (National) League, 2nd Men's team playing in the Midlands Tier 1 League and one Mixed team playing in the Midlands Tier 2 League. These are non-trialled teams that have historically done very well, with the 1st Men's team winning BUCS national champions and becoming Warwick's BUCS team of the year.

All training sessions are open to everyone, so we have opportunities for everyone to get involved. As well as our annual Varsities against Coventry and Birmingham Uni, we take part in countless leagues, tournaments and matches with a range of ability and competitiveness.

Dodgeball is also known for our weekly socials, which range from alcoholic to sober socials like board games, club meals, and, of course, our famous circles, which are fun, welcoming, and a great first circle to attend. We have many traditions that no other club has, like our Campus Challenge and 24 Hour socials, which we’re really proud of and make Dodgeball a special club to be a part of.

As one of the oldest teams in the UK, we are at the forefront of the sport and we encourage you to take part as casually or as competitively as you want! We have members who come to just socials or trainings, those who do both or those who play competitively as well – everyone is welcome.

We also have a great relationship with our local community clubs and have multiple members and alumni who represent their country in international tournaments such as the Dodgeball World Championships and the Euros.

Our 'Rockup and play' sessions (listed below) are completely free and open to everyone all year round. In these sessions, we play fun games casually, and it’s a great way to try Dodgeball or come along with your friends for fun and relaxation from studying!

Whether you’ve never picked up a Dodgeball before, want to come for just the socials or play competitively, we're a really close-knit group that anyone can fit into if you come along and join in! We have a really diverse range of members and an environment where you can feel comfortable and make friends for life!

• Tuesday: 14:30 - 16:00 (Zone D)
• Thursday: 17:00 - 18:30 (Zone C)
• Friday: 14:00 - 15:30 (Zone C)                                                                                                                                                                            
• Sunday: 20:00 - 22:00 (Zone D)

Rockup and play:

• Monday: 21:00 - 22:00 (Zone A)                                                                                                                                                                                               
• Friday: 13:00 - 14:00 (Zone C)
