Welcome to Warwick Motorsport! If you love motor racing, then this is the club for you! We try to put as much emphasis on motorsport participation as we can. We are a very welcoming club and cater for people of all levels of experience - so whether you're a professional racing driver, a seasoned karter, a massive F1 fan or if you've never been karting before and want to try something new and exciting, we'd love to have you on board!

Karting Events
Throughout the year we will be organising several karting events for all of our members at a variety of tracks, both indoor and outdoor, and maybe even dirt! These are well-attended and as a result are incredibly fun events, with a little bit of carnage on the side. These events are subsidies by us and we provide transportation. We will be looking to resume these as soon as regulations allow

British Universities Karting Championship (BUKC)
The BUKC is our main competition. It is run using Club100's fleet of rapid 2-stroke machines at some of the country's premier outdoor tracks, and we compete against over 100 teams from 55 other universities around the UK. Warwick's A team finished 10th overall last year with our C team finishing 8th in the Intermediate Championship. We are aiming to finish well inside the top 10 in the Premier Class this year, as well as aiming to finish on the podium in the Intermediate Championship! Driver Development Programme (DDP)
As a club, we own and run a couple of 2-stroke racing karts. These karts are even faster than the Club100 karts that are used in BUKC! Usually twice a term, we will take our karts down to our local outdoor track Whilton Mill and run them around for a day. The karts are maintained and run by our Driver Development Officers, who along with other senior club members will also give you tuition to help you improve as a driver. This is an opportunity not to be missed - we are one of a very small number of university motorsport clubs who can offer these types of events!

Social
As much as we love karting, we aren't exclusively about on-track action! We run regular socials at POP! as well as a whole selection of others, including:
* Sim Racing at professional venues
* Watching F1 races on campus
* Meals out
* Spectating at British motorsport events such as BTCC, Superbikes, Historic Racing and Stock Cars
* 'Big Screen Gaming'
