Societies Fair 2024/25
As part of Welcome Week, the 2024/25 Societies Fair will take place w/c Monday 23rd September.
Find here the list of societies present on Wednesday 25th September and Thursday 26th September. Societies will be present in both the main hall and Zone D. There will be a one way system which goes through both halls.
(Societies please note - you cannot change your category once the list has been announced - this should be part of your handover pack)

When will it take place?
It will be held over 2 days - Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th September.
The Fairs will be held from 10:00am until 6:00pm each day. Set up time is from 09:30am. (Please note the queues will be closed at 5.15pm.) Tables should be manned for this whole period.
On both days from 10:00am until 11:00am will be quiet hour with no music and limited capacity.
Each society will have one table on one of the days mentioned above. Your allocation is based on your Society category and for this reason unfortunately cannot be changed.
Where will it take place?
It will be located at the Sports Hub.
To find out when and where your society is exactly located during societies fair, find the floor plans located above, it will be in alphabetical order (available in August).

There won't be any boards behind any of the stalls, however feel free to decorate your table!
What sort of setup is required by societies?
All the tables will be laid out by 09:30am. So, all you need to do it find your table on the floor plans located above and make it ready for 10:00am!
Execs will enter through the fire exit by the car park at the back of the Sports Hall. All other students will enter through the main Sports and Wellness Hub entrance.
How many Exec are allowed per stall?
There is a limit of 3 per Society. You can rotate throughout the day, but at one time a maximum of 3 Execs should be at each table. You will be given 3 wristbands per Society for your Exec to have quick access in and out of the hub to avoid the queues. There will be an allocated space for this which will be signposted on the day. Please be aware this will be monitored by a staff member and ONLY access with a band or to swap a band at the door will be permitted. Wristbands will be available during the set up period of the Fairs on each day.
Please note: If any none affiliated Societies join onto SU affiliated Society tables, the whole table will be asked to leave. The event is for Societies in the lists above only.
