Other Opportunities to Give Your Feedback
The SSLC system plays a central role in consulting with students and finding out what you think about your experiences at the University. Feedback from SSLCs is complemented by information gathered from a number of other sources (see the University’s Teaching Quality website for more info) including:
-
Surveys organised by external bodies, including the National Student Survey, the International Student Barometer and the Postgraduate Research/Taught Experience Survey.
-
Departmental feedback methods, which might include module review meetings, written and on-line questionnaires, focus groups or informal discussion. Feedback should be documented irrespective of the method used in obtaining student opinion. Documentation can facilitate action and reporting back and should be kept on file in departments so that it is available for use in internal and external review processes.
