Filled with a lot of outlandish scenes, and dialogue which has already gone viral online, this much-awaited comedy from the writers of Family Guy and Crazy Rich Asians is everything you would expect. The story follows overachieving lawyer Audrey Sullivan who, although born to Chinese parents, was adopted by white parents and lives in Seattle with her childhood best friend, artist Lolo Chen. They take a trip to China, joined by socially-awkward Deadeye, old college roommate Kat and fiance Clarence, so Audrey can close a deal with a Chinese businessman, and set out to her old adoption agency on an epic, no-holds-barred journey of friendship, bonding and wild debauchery, which asks what it means to know and love who you are. An incredibly fun watch and a great comedy which will certainly go down as a classic of the genre! [James Patt]
