Once again, giving voice to the little emotions inside your brain, Inside Out 2 is a wonderful foray into the mind of a teenage girl. Relive great moments such as: not knowing how to fit in, intense mood swings, and of course, crippling anxiety!!! It’s a heartfelt follow-on from the original, balancing old favourites like Anger and Sadness with new additions to the emotional roster, including Maya Hawke’s amazing characterisation of Anxiety and Ayo Edebiri’s adorable Envy. The film expands on the world inside Riley’s mind with new locations and concepts, including my personal favourite scene in the whole movie, the Vault of Secrets.
