Come see Dìdi presented with stunning 4K laser projection on the big screen in L3!

There are many coming-of-age films in the world, too many perhaps, but surprisingly few have been made for the internet generation, where a good deal of the film's interactions comes from online messaging and mobile phone beeps - screens within screens within screens. Dìdi is set in 2008 and captures this online-offline relationship perfectly, as Dìdi navigates between MySpace posts and YouTube uploads whilst also fumbling at real-world friendships and relationships - he is charmingly pathetic and a perhaps too real reminder of the troubled period of being in your early-teens and thinking you know everything when really you know nothing. Dìdi runs between heartwarming and cringe-inducing, hilarious and depressing - the film itself almost perfectly mimics the chaos in Dìdi, the character's mind. Short, sweet, but unforgettable, Dìdi is one of the most charming indie films of the year and one I'm sure everyone will love. [Daniel Kallin]
