Come see Pitch Perfect presented with stunning 4K Laser Projection on the big screen in L3!

Pitch perfect follows ‘alternative’ wannabe music producer and college freshman Beca, who reluctantly joins the all-female a capella group, the Barden Bellas. Beca butts heads with Co-leader of the group Aubrey, whose traditionalist view to the group seems to be hindering their dreams of winning the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. While navigating newly found female friendships, Beca attempts to reinvent the Bellas and bring innovation to the group's performances. 

The cultural impact that this film had on 2012 tweens can never be replaced (anyone else remember that era when it was a flex to be able to do the cup song?). Even though its target audience is Glee fans and teenage girls, the infectious energy of this film can be enjoyed by anyone. Very corny, buckets of fun and full of iconic lines, Pitch Perfect really is the comfort movie. Although joining an acapella group seemed like the epitome of university for prepubescent me, I am unfortunately two years in and there’s no riff off in sight. [Eleanor Armstrong]
