Pressure Drop: Therapy Dogs session (With Pets as Therapy)

Event from SU Campaigns & Communities

Wednesday 03 May 2023, 1.30PM - Wednesday 03 May 2023, 2.45PM

SU Atrium (Behind Curiositea!)

Did you know that dogs can contribute to your overall sense of happiness and general wellbeing?

If you're in need of some time out this start of term, head over to the SU Atrium between 1:30pm and 3pm for some puppy love.

Studies show that dogs reduce stress, anxiety and depression, ease loneliness, encourage exercise and improve your all-around health.

Join us, and Pets As Therapy Dogs and volunteers as we bring some adorable four legged friends to be loved! The event is completely free to attend!

About Pets as Therapy
the Registered charity Pets as Therapy have kindly offered to support this event through providing our doggy volunteers. Pets as therapy do not charge for this service, but do ask kindly that if you have enjoyed the event, to consider donating to them. They'll have space for cash donations on the day so any free change you can spare for them would be greatly appreciated! If you enjoy the session, and want to support Pets as Therapy in their work further, you can scan the QR code to the left to donate directly to Pets As Therapy, or find out more about them via their website, Pets As Therapy

This event is part of the SU's commitment to tackle student lonliness and encourage connection amongst peers.
